The TSA chapter at Rock Ridge was founded by Sujay Kallipeti with Dr. King as the chapter advisor. Their goal was to foster a technological environment that cultivated students' experience with STEM. Now, after 5 years of experience, Avik Banerjee leads the club with the same initial goal.

The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national organization of students engaged in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). This organization is supported by educators, parents, and business leaders who believe in the need for a technologically literate society.
Through a range of competitive events and leadership opportunities, TSA members can explore interdisciplinary education. The diversity of activities make TSA a positive experience for every student. From engineers to business managers, numerous alumni credit TSA with a positive influence on their lives.
TSA members have the opportunity to compete at state conferences and at the annual National Conference. Expert judging by technology educators and industry representatives inspires the best from participants. Members are awarded not only with medals and trophies but also with memories of innovation and collaboration.

Our engineering branch in TSA helped build an efficient, portable, and clean energy generator for a government organization that specializes in assisting low-income areas.
The I.T. branch of TSA established an FCA branch that inspires the next generation of coders in middle school by teaching coding languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
With the rise of technology over the past decade, our school adopted individual school devices for every student and teacher. The TSA chapter helped sponsor a club that assists students/staff at the school that with technology issues throughout the year.
